About our moderator, Tom Martin, owner of People Management Professionals, a Human Resource and Safety consulting firm. He is a knowledgeable and skilled Human Resource Generalist with more than 30 years experience in all phases of HR. In addition, he is a skilled legislative analyst with more than Ten years experience. During his HR career, he has held a number of hands-on management positions with manufacturers employing 250 to 2,500 workers.  His skills have been honed in contentious, highly-charged union environments, in non-union high-tech facilities and minimum wage organizations. He holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Through his extensive legislative and regulatory involvement, he has substantial knowledge of California labor laws and regulations.
